Design an operating system for your business with AI — the Lazarus builder

Lazarus, by OpenLazarus, is an operating system for a business: one platform the company owns, with its CRM, mail, calendar, tasks, operations and finance modules, reports and AI agents working inside it. The builder at openlazarus.ai/build designs one around how a specific business works, in a conversation, with a live preview beside it.

Design yours at openlazarus.ai/build

How it works

  1. 1. Describe the business

What the company does, how many people work there, the software it uses today and what slows it down. A website address is enough to start.

  2. 2. Shape the design

The builder proposes modules, custom views, the workflow (for example booking → confirmation → check-in → treatment → billing) and AI agents. Ask for changes in plain words; the preview follows.

  3. 3. Try it

“Try your OS” opens the designed system as an interactive demo in the browser on made-up sample data: open views, search, create and edit records.

  4. 4. Get the plan

The plan sheet prices the design in the visitor’s currency. Teams of 30 or more get a session with engineering instead.

Questions

What is Lazarus?
An operating system for a business: one platform the company owns, combining CRM, mail, calendar, messages, tasks and projects, operations and finance modules, reports and AI agents that work inside it. Each company gets its own instance, designed around how it works.
What can the builder design?
Any business’s system: for example a dental or medical clinic (patients, appointments for several practitioners, treatment history, billing, recalls), an accounting firm (clients, engagements, documents, deadlines), a retail chain (inventory, sales, suppliers) or a services company (deals, projects, invoicing).
Does designing cost anything or need an account?
No. Designing and trying the demo are free and need no account. An account is needed only to save a design to it and to buy a plan.
Can I try the result before buying?
Yes. “Try your OS” opens the designed system as an interactive demo on sample data, in the browser. Nothing in the demo is real or saved.
Can an AI assistant do the design for me?
Yes. ChatGPT, Claude or another agent can open openlazarus.ai/build?prompt=… with a description of the business, or use the page’s WebMCP site tools, and come back with the design and a preview. The person signs in and pays on the page.
What does it replace?
Typically a CRM, a scheduling tool, invoicing, shared drives and the spreadsheets between them. The builder lists what the design replaces for each business.
Who owns the data?
The company. Each Lazarus runs on the company’s own server, and the platform is the company’s operating system rather than a shared multi-tenant app.
How much does it cost?
The plan sheet at the end of a design prices it in the visitor’s currency: a monthly plan with AI credits, hosting, and optional phone lines and engineering support. Teams of 30 or more get a session with engineering.
In which languages?
The builder works in 20 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese and more); it answers in the language the visitor writes in.
