# OpenLazarus

> Lazarus, by OpenLazarus (openlazarus.ai), is an operating system for a business: one platform the company owns, with
> its CRM (contacts, companies, deals), mail, calendar, messages, meetings, tasks and projects, operations and finance
> modules, reports, and AI agents that work inside it. Each company gets its own instance, designed around how it works.

## Design one

To design a Lazarus for a business, open https://openlazarus.ai/en/build (other languages: `/<locale>/build`, e.g.
`/es/build`, `/de/build`, `/ja/build`; 20 in all). Designing is free and needs no account. An AI designer on the page
asks about the business and builds the system with the visitor, with a live preview beside the conversation; the plan
is priced in the visitor's currency.

To start a design with a description of the business, open
`https://openlazarus.ai/build?prompt=<URL-encoded description>`: it becomes the first message and the builder takes it
from there. Without site tools, type into the chat box labelled "Message Sacha" on the right of the page.

The page offers **WebMCP site tools** to an AI agent in the visitor's browser (for example ChatGPT's built-in browser:

- `get_builder_state` — where the design stands and what is still missing
- `describe_business` — tell the builder about the business, answer its questions, ask for changes
- `set_design` — company name, modules, custom views, agents
- `choose_look` — design direction, navigation, accent colour, light or dark
- `show_preview` — move the preview to a screen
- `get_quote` — the monthly price in the visitor's currency
- `go_to_plan_sheet` — bring the visitor to the plan sheet
- `demo_open`, `demo_navigate`, `demo_list_views`, `demo_query_view`, `demo_get_record`, `demo_create_record`,
  `demo_update_record`, `demo_screen` — try an interactive demo of the designed system on made-up sample data (nothing
  in it is real or saved)

Signing in, giving an email, paying, and buying or connecting a domain are always done by the person, on the page.
They are never tools.

## ChatGPT plugin

Companies already on Lazarus can connect their workspace to ChatGPT and Codex through the Lazarus plugin (the
workspace's MCP server, turned on per workspace by its administrators). It works with each member's own access; it is
not part of this public site.
